The gear head allows independent and precise adjustment for nodding and rolling movements. This allows you to select the image detail very precisely, and is often required by architecture and product macro photographers.
By releasing the pitch/roll quick release lever, you can quickly make adjustments in the respective axis, then lock them and use the large buttons for final fine adjustments.
The base of the tripod head is 60 millimetres For the metal parts, Leofoto uses the high-quality 6061-T6 aluminium alloy with magnesium and silicon as alloy components. This corrosion-resistant material is characterised by high strength and good toughness. The yield strength is comparable to mild steel. All parts are milled on state-of-the-art CNC machines from the full material and are therefore significantly more stable than cast parts. Leofoto makes no compromises here either.
