The AmScope SM-4TPZ professional trinocular stereo zoom microscope features a pair of 10x super wide field eyepieces with high eye point, a 0.7x 4.5x zoom lens, two barlow lenses and a double arm boom stand. The microscope has a total magnification range of 3.5x-90x. The trinocular viewing head provides simultaneous viewing through the eyepieces and trinocular connection and has a pupil range of 55 to 75mm, a 45 degree tilt to reduce eye and neck strain and a 360 degree rotation to allow sharing. The vertical trinocular connector can be used as a C-mount or 23mm photo connector (camera sold separately). The super wide field eyepieces with super wide field WH10 x 20 mm, together with the 0.7 x 4.5 x zoom lens, offer continuous zoom magnification and a longer working distance for inspection of large-format samples that need to be handled or repaired. The microscope comes with 0.5x and 2.0x Barlow lenses that can be added to the lens to enlarge the magnification range. A Barlow lens with magnification of less than 1.0 reduces magnification and increases working distance, while a Barlow lens with magnification of more than 1.0 increases magnification and reduces working distance. Eyepieces with high eye points make it easier for users who wear glasses, the display, and the dioptric setting takes into account individual differences in eye strength. A stereo microscope, sometimes also called inspection or dissection microscope, has a low magnification and a long working distance that allows users to manipulate the object to be inspected.
