If you are looking for an easy to use but very lightweight tripod that can handle some heavy camera and lens combinations, the SLIK PRO cf-833 is for you. This tripod is 40% lighter than aluminium and super robust thanks to the 8-layer carbon fibre. When fully extended, it reaches a height of 170.9 cm and folds down to compact 23.6 inches. Although it is lightweight (1.5 kg), it is able to carry up to 7 kg. Use this tripod with professional camera bodies and/or heavy lenses. The three leg sections are secured and released with twist locks. Since the legs are not rotatable, you can unlock all the steps of a leg at once by turning the three large rubber handles with one hand. This allows for quick setup. The fast center column is removable and reversible for extremely low angle shooting with an inverted camera. At the bottom of the center column there is a metal hook for hanging a counterweight for added stability in uneven loads or windy conditions.
BUILT FOR TRAVEL The Slik Pro carbon fiber tripods are designed to hold professional camera gear and maintain a compact, lightweight profile, ready for backpacking, hiking and travel.
Multi-function center column: removable, reversible design for ground level or top-down shooting. Separates into 2 parts for minimum height. Built-in retractable hook ensures stability on uneven terrain or windy conditions, with a tool-free setup.
Leg angle locks: Each leg has an independent leg angle lock on the collar. This allows the legs to be adjusted to one of 3 angles, varying the height, posture and stability of the tripod.
Solid core: maximum height 67 inches, collapsed length 23.6 inches, weight capacity 15 pounds, weight 3.3 pounds
ADDITIONAL FEATURES The CF series tripods include twist locks that make operation, setup and take along easy, rubber feet for extra grip and an anti-rotation system that prevents leg sections from turning into each other.
